Who this policy covers

This policy applies to hunterdonroofingexperts.com, operated by Hunterdon Roofing Experts (“we”, “us”). It describes the information this website collects, why, and who it is shared with.

Information you give us directly

When you submit the estimate request form, we collect the information you enter into it:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address, if you provide one
• The property address, city, state and ZIP code, if you provide them
• The roofing service you selected
• Any message you write
• Your preferred contact method
• A record that you ticked the box agreeing to be contacted about your request

If you call or email us directly, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation.

Information collected automatically

This website uses Roof Leads Center, an analytics and customer relationship platform, to understand how visitors use the site and which pages generate enquiries. It records:

• Pages you view, including the page address and title
• The page you first arrived on and the referring website, if any
• Clicks on call buttons, email links and calls-to-action. Note that a click on a phone link records only that the number was tapped — it does not tell us whether a call was placed, connected or answered
• That a form was started and that a form was submitted. Field values are not sent through the analytics script
• Marketing campaign parameters present in the page address, such as UTM tags and advertising click identifiers
• Technical information about the browser session: an anonymous visitor identifier generated in your browser, a session identifier, your browser language and your screen dimensions

The visitor identifier is a random value created in your own browser and stored there. It is not linked to any identifier used by other websites, and the script does not use fingerprinting or third-party cookies.

Optional analytics

This site can also be configured to use Google Analytics 4 or Google Tag Manager for aggregate traffic reporting. Where enabled, those services receive page and event information only. We do not send your name, phone number, email address, property address or message content to any analytics service.

• To arrange, carry out and follow up on inspections, estimates and work
• To understand which pages and marketing sources produce genuine enquiries, so we can spend our marketing budget sensibly
• To detect and prevent spam and abuse of our forms

Ticking the consent box on the form means you agree to be contacted about that request. It does not subscribe you to a newsletter or to unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to one.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are transmitted from our server to Roof Leads Center (roofleadscenter.com), which hosts our customer records. We also rely on our website host for the operation of this site, and on Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection where it is enabled.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Security

Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection. The credentials used to communicate with our customer records system are held only on the server and are never present in the pages your browser loads.

Retention

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you, carry out any work, and meet our business and record-keeping obligations. Specific retention periods should be confirmed as part of the legal review noted above.

Your choices

• You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it
• You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time, by replying to any message or by using the contact details below
• You can block or clear browser storage, which will reset the anonymous visitor identifier described above
• Most browsers allow you to block scripts, though doing so may affect how parts of this site work

Children

This website is intended for property owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
